We were initially hesitant as we were getting towards the end of the trip and weren't keen on spending too much money, however this tour was worth absolutely every cent - if not more. Abbie was the most amazing host, personable, friendly and knowledgeable about good authentic Italian food. Abbie is passionate about sustainable tourism and genuinely supporting small local business which is obvious from the tour she has created from scratch. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience we could whilst in Italy, including suggestions for other places we visited in Italy (which were also phenomenal!).
This tour is a must for any food lover! Abbie is knowledgeable and genuine. She has a good relationship with the business owners along the tour. The food was delicious and plentiful. I am a vegetarian and I had more than enough food to eat. If you have dietary restrictions Abbie will be sure to accommodate your needs. Do yourself a favor and go on the food tour!
We had an amazing time on our food tour with Abbie. This tour includes some fantastic, unique spots that are local favorites in an area of the city you may otherwise overlook. Take a break from the usual tourist agenda and slow down with this informative, delicious food tour. Highly, highly recommend. (Great portion sizes too. You'll be stuffed by the end, but not enough to pass up the gelato!).
